Description
| About: | In the late 90s, the common taste of four friends for Rock n 'Roll developed the seed that gave rise to Beggar's House. The young members reflect their concerns through the band, in an evolutionary process that grows at the same time as their quest to reach new musical possibilities. Anti-statist and against musical pigeonholing, Beggar's House's songs began to develop increasingly, and more truly reflect the eclecticism that characterizes them. They are shaping a style in which they accommodate the different influences and passions of its members, all united by a common bond: Rock n 'roll and its different faces. Until 2005, when the group published its first LP (Beggar's House) on a spanish label called H-Records, four demos had seen the light (No name, Beggar's House, Red and Four Guys in the right place). The last one took the group to participate at Lagarto Rock 2003, a famous Spanish novel band contest, attaining 2nd prize. Later the group would participate as a finalist at Bilbo-Rock 2004, another well-known band contest, this time at European level. Beggar's house has performed countless times, sharing bills with bands such as Mooney Suzuki, Five Horse Johnson, Cheetaw Chrome, etc. Currently, Beggar's House has just finished their latest work "Deathwatch Beetle," a self-produced album, for which the group feels a special affection, having been fussed over till the end of is production. |
